I love your photo! The close up of the bird bath really draws my eyes to the scalloped edging. The high angle makes it seem as if the viewer is looking down into the basin, maybe looking at the reflection of the sky or the leaves at the bottom of it. I like the contrast on the water, it really helps define the slight ripple. Great photo!
(By the way, you asked what my picture was of. It's a boundary marker for my cabin on lake superior!) :)
i love that you can see the water isnt still. its moving. slightly. it makes me feel like this picture has life and that a bird could come in it at anytime. the close up shot brought my eyes directly to the edges of the bath though and the design of it. The colors really pop. the green of the grass.. the bronze of the bath. and i love the leaves that are at teh bottom and floating in the water
